Support at Home

The Support at Home Program helps older Australians maintain their independence, wellbeing, and safety while living in their own homes.

About the Program

The Support at Home Program helps older Australians maintain their independence, wellbeing, and safety while living in their own homes. Through government-subsidised funding, participants can choose the type of care they receive, how it’s delivered, and the level of support that best fits their needs.

At Silver Linings, we’re here to make that process simple, transparent, and personalised - so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that care is built around you.

What is Support at Home?

Launching in November 2025, the Support at Home program will replace the current Home Care Packages and other aged care initiatives.
This new model provides a clearer, fairer, and more flexible way to access home care - empowering older Australians to stay safe, connected, and confident in their own communities.

Our Approach

At Silver Linings, we take a person-centred approach to care. We start by understanding your goals, preferences, and daily challenges, then build a care plan that works best for your lifestyle.

Our approach includes:

  • Clear communication and transparent pricing

  • Flexible service options tailored to individual needs

  • Respect for your independence, culture, and choices

  • Consistent, compassionate support from local professionals

  • Transport: To appointments, shopping trips, and community events

  • Respite Care: Short-term support to give carers a well-deserved break
